Oman (part 2)

here is the ROYAL PALACE

Salah satu object wisata yang wajib di pake tempat futu-futu #heheheheh
Nama sultan yang memerintah sekarang adalah Qaboos bin Said al Said

Pakaiannya masih tradisional banget ya.... #sesuatu banget

Nah dibawah ini adalah 3 object pariwisata yang most recomended by TOURISM MINISTRY OF OMAN
(tapi pake bahasa inggris ya ahhahahahah #copas buk)

1. Wakan Village

The village sits at 2,000 metres above sea level in Wadi Mastal in Wilayt Nakhal, located in Al Batinah South Governorate. 150 kilometres separate this village from Muscat. The road leading to the village passes through a number of valleys where the villages can only be reached by a four-wheel-drive vehicle.

This region enjoys moderate temperatures in summer and low temperatures in winter. Visitors will observe many agricultural terraces supporting fruit trees, including grapes, pomegranates and apricots, as well as some legumes.

At the village entrance is an Information and Visitors’ Centre. A trail has been built stretching for 1,100 metres, comprising 700 steps rising to the top of the mountain, surrounded by a protective fence and containing service areas as well as observation towers that look like castles and umbrellas. You’ll also find sitting areas and a rest shelter overlooking the village and its terraces.

The descending Falaj passes from the top of the village towards the agricultural terraces where natural materials were used in building the trail. For lovers of mountain hiking, there is a mountainous trail that connects the village to Al Jabal Al Akhdar (Green Mountain).

2. Khawr Najd

This lagoon is one of the largest in the Governorate of Musandam, and is from the word ‘help’ in Arabic. At times of distress, travellers and traders laid up there during bad weather conditions at sea.

Khawr Najd can be reached either by traditional sea vessels (4 hours) from Khasab through the Strait of Hormuz, or by four-wheel drives along a beautiful mountain road (30 minutes), overlooking panoramic views of the lagoon from a height of 420 metres, where the tourist can revel in majestic scenery of sea and mountain.

3.Al-Dimaniyat Islands Nature Reserve

Al-Dimaniyat Islands Nature Reserve is located in Wilayat AlSeeb in the Muscat Governorate and Wilayat Barka in Al Batinah South Governorate, and lies about 18 kilometres off the coast of Barka (70 kilometres west of Muscat, the capital). Its total area is 100 hectares (247 acres) and is composed of nine islands. The reserve features pristine beaches on which the white sands are caressed by the sea’s crystal blue waters. This reserve has a rich natural heritage and is replete with several kinds of coral reefs, including some examples that are quite rare. The island is home to a large number of sea turtles that lay their eggs and nest there, as well as a magnet for migratory and indigenous birds.

In 1984, the reserve was recognised internationally because it is located within the project of the Great Barrier Reef, considered an international nature reserve and one of the most beautiful diving locations in the Sea of Oman.

Locally, the islands go by the following names: Kharabah, Huyoot, Al Jabal Al Kabeer (Um As Sakan). The latter is divided into two islands: Um Al Liwahah (Minaret) and Al Jawn that includes three islands. These islands contain more than 22 known diving sites, in addition to being perfect for snorkelling. Also, some people like to camp in the islands, especially in the period from October to February.
